The Palm Treo Pro is an improved Treo Pro product with respect to design and hardware. It is a smart phone with wireless options including Wi-Fi, HSDPA, Bluetooth, and GPS. The Palm Treo Pro is the only unlocked phone, which is available in the market. It has Windows Mobile OS, which enables it to provide many productivity and communication tools for the business user.

Build & Design

The Palm Treo Pro is totally reformed from its previous models. It has sleek frame with dimensions of 2.4 in x 0.5 in x 4.5 in and weighs 4.7 ounces. It is the one with sleek and touch screen combined together successfully. The black gloss casing on the cake is quite eye-catching. The display screen is 2.5-inch with a 320×320-pixel resolution, which makes the screen quite bright. Memory is expandable and microSD card is placed beneath the battery.

Keypad

The Palm Treo Pro has a QWERTY keyboard. Though the spacing between the buttons is quite large, still the keyboard is slightly cramped. Especially designed for the business user, the buttons are gelatinous and cute. A 2-megapixel camera with 8x zoom but no flash helps us taking images but not of high quality. Power button and silent ringer switch is present on the top.

The Palm Treo Pro is mostly designed for the business classes. Windows Mobile 6.1 runs as OS, which includes all the productive features and tools required by them. It has all the wireless option such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and HSDPA. It features quad-band world roaming, smart dialing, conference calling. The call quality and speaker is decent. 400MHz Qualcomm MSM7201 processor results in general performance of the Treo Pro. Browsing the web is made swift by HSDPA. However, the price of Palm Treo Pro makes it a bit less popular among the user.
