The Samsung Eternity is amongst the only one offering AT&T Mobile TV, which makes it stand different from the rest of the Samsung products. It has got all the multimedia features such as Bluetooth with full stereo profile. The Wi-Fi is not included and this makes it less business friendly.

Build and Design

The Samsung Eternity gives a strong feel in hand even though its weighs 3.8ounces only. The dimensions 4.3″x2.2″x0.5″ gives it a slim look and rectangular in shape. The display has shiny glossy material all round. The only complaint is the plastic covering over the battery, whereas metal covering is preferable. It is attractive in design.

Keypad

The touchpad of Samsung Eternity is very easy to use. It can be easily scrolled up and down, which helps us to select an item from the long menus. The keypad has a large alphanumeric buttons. It also has a QWERTY-type keyboard, but has no graffiti application additional keyboard for emoticons. By simply rotating the phone, we can change the alphanumeric keypad.

Performance and Benchmarks

The Samsung Eternity is fully equipped with all the essential features. In addition to that, the Eternity has full Bluetooth with a stereo profile, a file manager, a voice recorder, USB mass storage, and instant messaging. PC syncing for photos, music, and other data files are there in Eternity. A 3-megapixel camera helps to take good quality pictures with four resolutions, from 2,048×1,536 down to a 400×240 “wide” resolution. Call quality provided by it is very satisfying with no distortion in the voice. However, the 3G services provided is not that satisfactory. Battery provides a good talk time backup, which is quite impressive.
