Sony VAIO JS190J is considered amongst the fastest desktops in the market today. It is a full size desktop, which makes it comparable from the other desktop. VAIO JS190J features a blu-ray drive, which makes this desktop a second home entertainment system. Overall, it is a powerful and affordable desktop for work or for playing digital media files.

Build & Design

The Sony VAIO JS190J is a full size desktop with a 20-inch LCD and Blu-ray drive. The VAIO JS190J is available in three colors: black, silver, and light pink. The desktop has a webcam located at the edge of the top of its body. It features all that we desire from a modern desktop with an inbuilt Bluetooth and Wi-Fi enabled. The desktop comes with a 4-GB RAM, which gives adequate environment for running Windows Vista as the operating system.

Keyboard & Mouse

The design of Sony VAIO JS190J’s QWERTY keyboard is similar to most released by most VIAO desktop. It has a wired mouse, but the keyboard lacks remote control. The Sony VAIO is also made up of brushed aluminum and rubber-feeling keys. Typing experience on the keyboard is nice. Again, you will not feel the presence of the mouse due to its small size.

Performance & Benchmarks

The Sony VAIO JS190J is a strong performer and good at multitasking.  Blu-ray drive in the system at this price is an advantage. Again, the VAIO JS190J features Bluetooth, wireless LAN and camera. Sony display and a powerful computing platform makes it of great value. The memory of the system is ample enough for executing most applications and internal memory is easy to access. It comes with an integrated graphics chip, which does not allow you to play the latest 3D games.

At $1,499, Sony VAIO JS190J is a midrange desktop, which has been targeted mainly for official use.
