Product Review, Specs, Photos of Sony Ericsson TM506

The Sony Ericsson TM506 was the first 3G phone to come out in the market. For its broad 3G and inbuilt GPS, it was initially preferable by most cell phone users. It is easy to use, has great graphics and slim in design along with an excellent battery life.
Build & Design
The Sony Ericsson TM506 is not that stylish but it does not mean that it is not attractive. It is slim in design and measures 3.7-inch by 1.9-inch by 0.7-inch. At 3.4 ounces, it cannot be considered a heavy phone. It is strong and gives a comfortable feel while griping. The external display is rectangular and small with limited function. On the other hand, internal display is quite good with size of 2.25-inch. The screen of TM506 is bright, colorful and vibrant. On the left spine, memory card (microSD) can be placed which makes easy for one to access it.
Keypad
The Sony Ericsson TM506 has got a unique keypad and navigation array. The circular toggle and ‘OK’ button are bit washed off, but the rings on its side makes it look good. An overlapping circle above the keys in keypad buttons gives it a unique look. The keys are flat and are rubbery type. The numbers and letters on the keypad are small with a dim backlight.
Performance & Benchmarks
The Sony Ericsson TM506 was designed keeping the 3G technology in mind. Unfortunately, it supports only 3GSM bands, which makes it not a complete 3G phone. However, quality of the call is decent overall, as the signal is free from any interference. It has a 2-megapixel camera, which help us to take pictures in three sizes. The photo quality is good with the images being bright and sharp. The music can be easily transferred to the handset by means of Bluetooth and memory card. The great graphics are provided by this handset. The battery life is excellent and it can last for 9.5 hours when used.
